Dear Mr. Kirby
Thank you for contacting the BCS with a playoff proposal. We receive numerous similar proposals.
Please know the BCS is not empowered to create a playoff. The only group with the legislative authority to do so is the NCAA presidents and chancellors, working through the NCAA process. The BCS is not part of the process. Instead it is a series of contracts between its members to put the best teams in the top bowls
